FAQ
Home services membership questions
Pricing, coverage, franchise technicians, cancellation rights, and how Liberty differs from medical home care.
How much does a Liberty membership cost?
The base plan is $999 per year for homes up to 2,500 sq ft and includes three covered one-hour visits. Each additional 1,000 sq ft (or part thereof) adds $150 per year.
Is Liberty medical or personal home care?
No. Liberty Builders Home Services is a home services membership for maintenance and repair visits — handyman-style work around the house. We are not a medical home care agency, nursing service, or live-in caregiver provider.
What is the home care price list for Liberty?
The base home care cost is $999 per year for homes up to 2,500 sq ft with three included one-hour visits. Each additional 1,000 sq ft adds $150 per year. Members also receive 25% off the list hourly rate beyond the included hour.
Do you offer home services near me?
Coverage depends on local Liberty franchise operators. Submit your ZIP on the free coverage check to see if we offer home services near you, or join the waitlist for your area.
Is Liberty a home care franchise?
Yes. Liberty operates through licensed franchise technicians and local operators so members get accountable at-home services with consistent membership pricing.
Why is Liberty set up as a membership?
A yearly membership lets us plan technician capacity, avoid surprise call-out fees for covered visits, and give members predictable home care through the app instead of chasing one-off handyman quotes.
What is your cancellation policy?
Under California’s CLSB Notice of Cancellation, you may cancel within 3 business days (5 if 65+, or 7 during a declared disaster) for a full refund when applicable. We collect consent before checkout. After that window, email support@libertyservices.app to stop future renewals.
What if a visit takes longer than an hour?
Members receive 25% off the list hourly rate for time beyond the included hour on a covered visit, so larger jobs stay more affordable and predictable.
How do parts and materials work?
Membership covers labor time for included visits. Parts and materials are typically billed separately when needed; your technician and invoices in the app will make those charges clear before payment.
Can landlords use Liberty?
Yes. Liberty supports multi-property landlords with work orders and memberships per unit when you’re ready to enroll. Use the Partners section and choose Landlord on the coverage form.
Do you work with realtors?
Yes. Realtors use Liberty as a closing gift and post-close support path for buyers, and as a listing-prep resource for sellers. Select Realtor on the coverage check form and we’ll follow up about partner intros.
Can insurance companies partner with Liberty?
Yes. Agencies and carriers can offer membership home care as a retention or loss-prevention benefit. Choose Insurance on the form and tell us about your book of business.
Is the Liberty home care app available now?
App Store and Google Play links are coming soon. Request a coverage check and we’ll notify you when downloads are live in your area.
What kinds of jobs are covered?
Typical covered work includes fixture swaps, touch-up paint, hardware installs, filter and vent care, leak investigation, furniture assembly, seasonal maintenance, home inspection reports, and landlord work orders — within visit time and scope.
Are Liberty technicians licensed?
Yes. Visits are fulfilled through licensed franchise operators and vetted technicians — real accountability, not a revolving marketplace of whoever is free that day.
